( THE PEOPLE BEHIND GOAT )

NESS+ DANI.

We’ve worked agency-side.
We think owner-side.

Two founders. Two countries. A ridiculous amount of lived experience.

Ness, co-founder of GOAT
NESSGOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA
Dani, co-founder of GOAT
DANIMAKATI, PHILIPPINES
NESS — GOLD COAST, AUSTRALIA DANI — MAKATI, PHILIPPINES

( QUITE THE OPPOSITE )

WE DIDN’T BUILD GOATBECAUSE THE WORLDNEEDED ANOTHER AGENCY.

Quite the opposite.

Between us, we’ve:

Built businesses. Worked inside businesses. Worked inside agencies. Managed clients. Managed teams. Built brands. Created campaigns. Solved operational messes. Worked across marketing, systems, people and growth. And worked with some very well-known names along the way.

We’ve seen business from both sides of the table.

And from a few seats nobody usually talks about.

That’s why GOAT exists.

GROWTH.OPERATIONS.AUTOMATION.TALENT.

Not four separate departments.
One business problem.

( HIGH EXPECTATIONS )

WE’VE BOTHWORKED WITHVERY WELL-KNOWNNAMES.

Nice for the bio.

But that’s not actually the interesting part.

The interesting part is what you learn working around high expectations.

Things need to happen quickly. The standard has to be high. Communication matters. Details matter. Discretion matters.

And when something goes wrong, nobody really cares whose department it belonged to.

It just needs fixing.

That thinking came with us into GOAT.

( LIVED EXPERIENCE )

WE’REBUSINESS OWNERS.

Not business commentators.

Not people who learned business from a marketing course.

Not people who have only ever looked at companies through an Ads Manager.

We’ve actually lived it.

Payroll. Staff. Customers. Stock. Suppliers. Cash flow. Sales. Systems. Margins. Complaints. Growth. Bad months. Great months.

And the occasional:

“What the fu%k happened there?”

That changes how you think about business growth.

Ness working from her Gold Coast office
CO-FOUNDERNESSGOLD COAST

( CO-FOUNDER / GOLD COAST )

NESS

BUILT THEM.RAN THEM.GREW THEM.SOLD THEM.

Then worked inside them.

Then worked inside agencies.

That’s a fairly useful education.

Ness started her first businesses in her early twenties.

And then spent the next two decades learning business the slightly less glamorous way:

by actually doing it.

Service businesses. Brick-and-mortar. Training and education. E-commerce. Online businesses. Products. Teams. Customers. Marketing. Operations. Sales. Growth.

She built businesses from scratch, scaled them, managed teams and contractors, developed products and services, created the systems behind them - and ultimately sold six businesses. Her CV includes a multi-location service and training business that achieved 300% revenue growth and involved 40+ contractors and long-term employees, followed by a six-figure e-commerce and education business that she later sold.

SHE’S DONETHE WHOLEBLOODY THING.

Not just the nice bit that goes on LinkedIn.

Hiring. Firing. Selling. Marketing. Customers. Products. Operations. Staff. Cash flow. Systems. Suppliers. Growth.

And figuring out how all of those things are supposed to work together.

( THEN THINGS GOT INTERESTING )

SHE WENTINSIDE OTHERBUSINESSES.

And then inside agencies.

Which meant seeing growth from another angle again.

Today, Ness’s experience spans marketing leadership, agency operations, client strategy, campaign management, customer success, e-commerce operations and business development. She works across SEO, websites, email, social, paid campaigns, lead generation, funnels, CRM, reporting, customer experience and the operational side of getting it all delivered.

So when someone says:

“We need better marketing.”

Her brain doesn’t stop at marketing.

It goes:

  • Why?
  • What’s broken?
  • Where are the leads going?
  • Who’s following them up?
  • Does the CRM work?
  • Can the team handle more sales?
  • Does the offer convert?
  • What happens after someone buys?

Because that’s how an owner thinks.

OWNER FIRST.MARKETER SECOND.

Ness has more than 20 years of experience across entrepreneurship, marketing, agency environments, e-commerce, business development, client management and operations.

But the number of years isn’t really the point.

The point is the perspective.

SHE’S BEEN THE OWNER.THE CLIENT.THE MARKETER.THE OPERATOR.THE AGENCY.

You don’t get much more lived business experience than seeing the same problem from almost every side of the table.

( A FEW OTHER THINGS )

Ness has also built social audiences of more than 1.5 million people across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, alongside content creation and digital marketing work.

Her work has ranged from small businesses and corporate companies through to training organisations and high-profile clients.

So yes.

She knows marketing.

She just knows marketing isn’t the whole business.

( NESS IN ONE SENTENCE )

Built businesses. Sold businesses. Worked inside businesses. Worked inside agencies. Now building the thing she wished existed between all of them.

Dani working from a hotel balcony in Boracay

Created from a real photo of Dani working on a hotel balcony in Boracay. Very GOAT, really.

CO-FOUNDERDANIMAKATI

( CO-FOUNDER / MAKATI, PHILIPPINES )

DANI

MAKESTHINGSACTUALLY HAPPEN.

Strategy is lovely.

Until somebody has to build it.

Dani has spent years working hands-on across digital marketing, social media, content, campaigns, CRM, websites, research, reporting and the thousand small moving parts that sit between an idea and something actually going live.

She holds a Master’s degree and has worked across Australian businesses, agency environments and high-profile accounts — including social and digital work involving major names and celebrities.

But, much like Ness, the names aren’t really the point.

The useful part is what working at that level teaches you:

Quality matters.
Timing matters.
Details matter.
The client should not have to chase you.
And “almost finished” is not the same thing as finished.

DANI ISVERY GOOD ATTHE BIT AFTER“GOOD IDEA.”

Building it.

Organising it.

Checking it.

Connecting it.

Making sure the right thing happens next.

Her experience spans:

  • AI & Automation
  • UI/UX Design
  • Digital Marketing
  • Social Media
  • Content Creation
  • CRM Management
  • Email Marketing
  • Website Design & Development
  • Campaign Execution
  • Research & Insights
  • Reporting & Analytics
  • Lead Management
  • Systems & Workflows
  • Project Coordination
  • Client Delivery
  • Operations Support

She has worked inside the machinery of marketing rather than simply standing outside it making recommendations.

That matters at GOAT.

Because we don’t want clients paying for a strategy deck and then wondering who is going to do all the work.

LESS“WE RECOMMEND.”MORE“IT’S DONE.”

Dani brings the execution brain.

The detail brain.

The “there are 37 moving pieces here and somehow I know where they all are” brain.

And after working with Ness for around four years before GOAT even existed, she also knows when Ness is about to turn a simple idea into a project with approximately 94 tabs open.

Useful skill.

( DANI IN ONE SENTENCE )

Turns ideas into work, work into systems, and systems into things that actually happen.

( THE WORKING RELATIONSHIP CAME FIRST )

BEFORE THEREWAS GOAT,THERE WASNESS + DANI.

We didn’t meet at a networking event and decide over one margarita to start an agency.

The working relationship came first.

Years of actually working together.

Clients. Marketing. Creative. Systems. Problems. Ideas. Deadlines. Things breaking. Things working.

Figuring out how each other thinks.

GOAT came later.

That matters.

Because a good co-founder relationship isn’t built in a pitch deck.

( ONE COMPANY )

TWO COUNTRIES.ONE COMPANY.

GOLD COAST
AUSTRALIA
+MAKATI
PHILIPPINES

Gold Coast, Australia.

Makati, Philippines.

Different locations.

Different strengths.

Shared responsibility.

Same company.

Same clients.

Same standards.

Same outcome.

And probably the same Slack notification going off at an unreasonable hour.

( THE RIGHT PEOPLE )

GREAT PEOPLEAREN’T LIMITEDBY POSTCODE.

Neither is GOAT.

We don’t believe the best person for a job automatically lives within commuting distance of your office.

We believe in finding:

  • The right strategist.
  • The right marketer.
  • The right designer.
  • The right developer.
  • The right systems person.
  • The right support.

Then putting them around the same business problem.

Both founders stay connected to the full journey:

Lead. Sales. Discovery. Strategy. Execution. Results. Retention.

Different strengths.

Same responsibility.

( DIFFERENT LENS )

WHY OURBACKGROUNDSMATTER.

We’ve been inside agencies.

We’ve been inside businesses.

We’ve owned businesses.

And that creates a slightly different conversation.

AN AGENCY SEES

“The campaign generated 200 leads.”

AN OWNER SEES

“Great. Who called them?”

AN AGENCY SEES

“Traffic increased 38%.”

AN OWNER SEES

“Did revenue?”

AN AGENCY SEES

“Your engagement is up.”

AN OWNER SEES

“Cool. Can I pay wages with engagement?”

Different lens.

( NOT ANOTHER AGENCY )

SO WE BUILTSOMETHING ELSE.GOAT.

A growth partner that can look across:

GROWTH.OPERATIONS.AUTOMATION.TALENT.

And ask:

WHAT DOES
THE BUSINESS
ACTUALLY NEED?

Not:

“Which service package can we sell them?”

( THE SHORT VERSION )

NESS + DANI.

Business owners.Agency experienced.Worked with very well-known names.Commercial brains.Different postcodes.Slightly allergic to bullshit.Building GOAT together.
